Our
lawyers volunteer their time and perform community service activities each
year. We have founded and/or supported a diverse group of organizations,
often providing educational
and mentoring opportunities for children in South
Florida. We have proudly served as directors, coaches, mentors and
in other leadership positions. Some of these contributions are as
follows:
- Dade
County Bar Young Lawyers eMentoring Program
Founder
and former director of telementoring program which pairs local high school
students with volunteer young lawyers from the Dade County Bar for
individualized telementoring relationships lasting throughout the school
year. The program received awards from the American Bar Association,
Young Lawyers Division and the Florida Bar, Young Lawyers Division and has been
duplicated in various parts of the country.
- Volunteer Coaching
Volunteer head and assistant coach for youth programs
including baseball, basketball, and softball on Key Biscayne.
- Florida Hellenic Bar Association
Founding Member.
- Children
and Youth Law Clinic at the University of Miami's Center for Ethics and Public
Service
Represented
and provided legal services for adolescents in the foster care system.
- Committee of 100 to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Greater Miami
Member
of committee of professionals committed to raising money for Big Brothers Big
Sisters of Greater Miami.

Founding
member of board of directors for group of young professionals dedicated to
providing financial support and community awareness on behalf of specialty
hospital for children.

Advocate for community enhancement projects on Key Biscayne
including inner street sidewalks and the Key Biscayne Community Center.
